āš ļø LOW PRESSURE THREAT NEAR SOUTHEAST U.S. COAST

An area of low pressure could develop near the Southeast U.S. Atlantic or Gulf coasts by this weekend along a weakening frontal boundary.

šŸŒ€ Development outlook:
ā–Ŗ A tropical or subtropical depression could form this weekend or early next week while the system drifts northward or northeastward.
ā–Ŗ Formation chance: Medium (40% in next 7 days)

šŸŒ§ļø Impacts regardless of development:
ā–Ŗ Heavy rainfall possible across parts of the Southeast U.S.
ā–Ŗ West-central Florida coast at risk for significant rain
ā–Ŗ Strong surf, coastal flooding, localized wind gusts possible

šŸšØ TNW advisory for Florida residents and visitors:
We urge residents and travelers in Florida to follow guidance from local government agencies and officials for any evacuation orders or preparedness actions. Travelers heading to Florida ā€” especially in the next 24-60 hours or up to 60 days ā€” should monitor forecasts closely.

šŸŒŖļø Hurricane Flossie: Located a few hundred miles south of Baja California's southern tip.
šŸŒŠ New low south of southwestern Mexico: A tropical depression could form this weekend or early next week.
