ā ļø TROPICAL DEVELOPMENT POSSIBLE ā LOW PRESSURE NEAR FLORIDA COAST
The National Hurricane Center (NHC), in coordination with the TNW News Hurricane Operations Division, continues to monitor a cluster of thunderstorms off Floridaās Atlantic coast for potential tropical development later this week.
The area, designated Invest 93L, has grown more organized and is forecast to move westward across Florida, entering the warm waters of the northeastern Gulf of Mexico by midweek. This environment may provide a limited window for further organization into a tropical depression or tropical storm.
ā±ļø TIMING & IMPACTS
- Tuesday: System crosses the Florida Peninsula
- Wednesday: Expected to emerge in the northeastern Gulf
- Late Week: Conditions become marginally favorable for development
Regardless of formation:
- š§ļø Heavy rain, thunderstorms, and flash flooding possible across Florida
- š Moisture surge expected along the Gulf Coast and Florida Panhandle
- šŖļø Increased instability may lead to brief tornado risk in some isolated areas
