⚠️ LOW PRESSURE THREAT NEAR SOUTHEAST U.S. COAST

The National Hurricane Center continues to monitor a low-pressure area that could develop near the Southeast U.S. Atlantic or Gulf coasts this weekend along a weakening frontal boundary.

🌀 Development outlook:
▪ A tropical or subtropical depression could form this weekend or early next week as the system drifts northward or northeastward.
▪ Formation chance: Medium (40% in next 7 days)

🌧️ Impacts regardless of development:
▪ Heavy rainfall possible across parts of the Southeast U.S.
▪ West-central Florida coast remains at risk for significant rain
▪ Potential for strong surf, coastal flooding, localized wind gusts

🚨 TNW Advisory for Florida Residents & Visitors:
▪ Have all paperwork and essential medications ready
▪ Charge electric vehicles 95%+ during hurricane season
▪ Gas vehicles: Keep tanks full
▪ Generators: Gas-powered units must stay outside the living area; solar generators can be inside when in use but charge outside in direct sun
▪ Follow only official evacuation orders from your local government

🌪️ Hurricane Flossie: Continuing south of Baja California.
🌊 New low south of southwestern Mexico:
▪ Gradual development possible, 50% chance in 7 days
▪ Likely to move west-northwest
