🚨 BREAKING: TROPICAL DEPRESSION THREE FORMS

The National Hurricane Center (NHC) has officially classified the system as Tropical Depression Three (TD 3) in the Atlantic basin near Florida.

🌬️ Expected strengthening:
▪ TD 3 is forecast to become a Tropical Storm later tonight or early Saturday.

📍 Tropical Storm Watches issued for:
▪ Parts of the South Carolina coast, including:

• Charleston
• Georgetown
• Myrtle Beach

📌 Forecast Track & Timing:

▪ Saturday PM: 40 mph winds near Charleston
▪ Sunday AM/PM: Inland, gusty winds + heavy rain (Columbia → Charlotte → Raleigh)
▪ Monday AM: Weakening but spreading rain across the Carolinas

🌧️ Potential Impacts:

▪ Flash flooding possible
▪ Gusty winds along the coast
▪ Dangerous rip currents + rough surf
