A weak low-pressure area is a couple hundred miles off the North Carolina coast. Slow development is possible before it merges with a frontal system this weekend.

2️⃣ Central Atlantic – AL96
Currently producing minimal showers and thunderstorms, but environmental conditions are expected to become more favorable in a few days. A tropical depression could form by early or mid-next week.

🔹 Eastern Pacific

#Henriette is forecast to pass well northeast of #Hawaii on Sunday, bringing no direct impacts to the islands.
