Current Situation:
- Location: Beryl made landfall near Mexico as a Category 2 hurricane with 110 mph winds on July 5th.
- Status: It weakened over the Yucatán Peninsula but is expected to re-strengthen to a Category 1 hurricane by late Sunday night into Monday or early Tuesday morning.
Impact:
- Flooding: Anticipated significant freshwater flooding.
- Structural Damage: Potential for considerable structural damage.
- Safety Measures: Governor Greg Abbott has declared a disaster order.
Precautions:
