As of 9:45 a.m., snow is accumulating in the northern suburbs of Chicago, with 1.3 inches reported in Glenview, Illinois. Snowfall is expected to intensify, and the Winter Weather Advisory remains in effect for much of the Chicago area until 1 p.m. today. The advisory has been extended until 3 p.m. for Northwest Indiana and Kankakee County as snow continues to impact these regions.
