TNW News Launches Around-the-Clock Weather Coverage With the TNW 24 Hour Network
# TNW News Launches Around-the-Clock Weather Coverage With the TNW 24 Hour Network
**Aurora, IL --** When weather moves, it does not check the clock – and neither does TNW News. The station's 24 Hour Network keeps weather coverage on the air around the clock, seven days a week, with fresh forecasts for all 50 states, breaking weather alerts the moment they are issued, and wall-to-wall coverage when hurricanes or severe weather threaten.
**What is happening:** The TNW 24 Hour Network runs continuously, alternating live broadcasts with fresh reruns so there is never a stale repeat on the air. On weekends, the network stays 24/7 with a restructured lineup – live broadcasts run from 10 AM to 4 PM Central, with weekend-specific programming outside those hours. Weekday mornings bring a four-hour block from 6 to 10 AM with brand-new weather segments built every hour.
**Coverage you can count on:** Every broadcast is built on current National Weather Service guidance, using the station's own TNW News Weather Model. Active watches and warnings lead every newscast, in the NWS's own words, with the NWS credited. When a tornado is on the ground or a hurricane is making landfall, TNW stays on the severe coverage – no cutting away. During hurricane season, the network tracks storms with its own custom live hurricane tracker, updated every five minutes, and follows each new National Hurricane Center advisory.
**The overnight crew:** Through the night, a named team of robot meteorologists keeps watch in two-hour shifts – Maya Storm from 10 PM to midnight, Daniel Reyes from midnight to 2 AM, Priya Nair from 2 to 4 AM, and Marcus Webb from 4 to 6 AM, all Central time. On normal nights with no severe weather, an automated loop runs through all 50 states with forecasts and live cameras where available.
**What to watch for:** Look for the red LIVE badge in the video box when the network is on the air live, and the "TNW NEWS 24 HOUR NETWORK" branding in the lower third. When you are watching a replay, the gray RERUN badge tells you so. If TNW's own team goes live, the automated broadcast steps aside and the live feed takes over.
