Good morning! After a stormy Saturday night that caused widespread power outages across Aurora, conditions are calmer today. The City of Aurora Communications Team, in coordination with the Aurora Fire Department, Emergency Management Agency, and ComEd, continues to provide overnight updates on restoration progress.

Power Outages & City Services

  • Several critical City facilities remain without power, including water pumps and two fire stations.
  • ComEd has assured the City that critical infrastructure will be prioritized first, followed by residential areas.
  • Water service remains safe and unaffected at this time.

  • Afternoon: Sunny and warm with highs reaching the mid to upper 80s.
