Aurora, Illinois — The National Weather Service in Chicago has issued a River Flood Warning for the East Branch DuPage River from Maple Avenue in Lisle downstream to the confluence with the West Branch DuPage River, including the Bolingbrook gauge.

āš ļø Warning Details

  • Warning Duration: From Tuesday 3:06 PM CDT until Wednesday 1:00 AM CDT.
  • Current Stage: At 2:40 PM CDT, the river was measured at 20.4 feet.
  • Flood Stage: 20.0 feet.
  • Forecast: Levels are expected to slowly fall below flood stage late tonight or overnight.
  • Severity: Minor flooding is occurring and will continue through the evening hours.

  • DuPage River Greenway Trail east of the river near Royce Road in Bolingbrook is threatened.
  • Trails at Green Valley Forest Preserve near Woodridge are at risk of flooding.
