**What is happening:** Forecasters in Albuquerque tracked a strong storm sitting over Las Vegas around 3:43 PM. It is pushing to the northeast at roughly 30 miles per hour. Towns in the path include Las Vegas, Storrie Lake State Park, Montezuma, Sapello, Romeroville, Watrous, Tecolote, Golondrinas, and Ojitos Frios. The warning stays up through 4:30 this afternoon.

**Local impacts:** The storm is packing wind gusts near 60 miles per hour and hail as large as quarters. Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees, plus hail damage to cars parked outside. Motorists will face sudden drops in visibility and water pooling on roadways. The storm is crossing Interstate 25 between mile markers 336 and 365 and near mile marker 366, State Road 518 between mile markers 1 and 13, and State Road 104 between mile markers 1 and 11.
