At 6:55 PM CDT, radar tracked a severe thunderstorm about 25 miles southwest of Medicine Lake and 37 miles southeast of Gordon, moving southeast at 10 miles per hour. The storm is radar-indicated, meaning forecasters are seeing the rotation and intensity on radar rather than getting reports from the ground.

## Local impacts:

- Wind gusts up to 60 mph — strong enough to damage roofs, siding, and trees

- Hail up to half-dollar size (about an inch and a quarter) — hail damage to vehicles is expected

- Torrential rainfall is coming down with this storm and could trigger flash flooding

- Places in the path include Round Lake, the intersection of Highway 61 and Survey Valley Road, and Highway 61 between mile markers 181 and 195
