Severe Thunderstorm Warning for Bienville, Bossier, Caddo, De Soto and Red River Parishes Through 1:15 PM CST

Northwest Louisiana — A severe thunderstorm warning is in effect for parts of northwest Louisiana through 1:15 PM CST on Tuesday, November 3. What is happening: The National Weather Service in Shreveport warns of a line of severe thunderstorms stretching from near Stonewall to near Mansfield, moving east at about 25 miles per hour. The warning covers west central Bienville Parish, southeastern Bossier Parish, southeastern Caddo Parish, central De Soto Parish, and northwestern Red River Parish. Local impacts: Radar shows wind gusts up to 60 miles per hour. Those gusts can damage roofs and siding and bring down trees. A tornado remains possible with these storms, so the threat can change quickly. Places in the path include Mansfield, Stonewall, South Mansfield, Grand Cane, Caspiana, Carmel, Frierson, Ninock, Kingston, Mc Dade, Loggy Bayou, Grand Bayou, Elm Grove, Crichton, Reeds Store, Gloster, and Kickapoo. What to do: Get inside a well-built structure and stay away from windows. If a tornado warning is issued for your area, move at once to an interior room on the lowest floor. Do not wait to see or hear a tornado before taking shelter. Keep clear of damaged trees and power lines after the storms pass. Source: National Weather Service in Shreveport, November 3, 2026.
