**What is happening:** The National Weather Service in Shreveport issued a Flash Flood Warning for southwestern Bienville, southeastern Bossier, southeastern Caddo, north-central De Soto, northwestern Red River, and southeastern Webster parishes, lasting through 12:45 PM Central Time. At 8:42 AM CT, radar showed thunderstorms producing heavy rain over the area. Between 3 and 6 inches of rain have already fallen, and an additional 2 to 4 inches are possible. The weather service calls this a life-threatening flash-flood situation, with flooding ongoing or about to begin.
